Here is my submission for the creatures of the movie "9" contest. This beast is called an Indrik and was based largely on a cross between an indricotherium and a workhorse. It's made from both on and offshore oil rigs, jet engines (non-functional, except to support the shoulders), sketetons of ships, various scaffolding from houses and buildings, and I-beam toes designed to pierce into the ground as it walks for support. It's an incredibly huge creature that constantly patrols the sea floor searching for oil to drill up with it's tusks. It is also extremely destructive and toxic to the environment, although in the world of 9, it may actually be beneficial. Its power can be harnessed for either good or evil, depending on which side is brave enough to tame one.

Woah... That is HUGE...
I love how you used the prehistoric indricotherium for part of the design, and the fact that it's made partly out of an oil rig. The colors bring it to life, making it look more realistic. People would get squashed before they attempted to taim THIS creature! Awesome job!

By the way, am I correct in saying that the indricotherium was a prehistoric ancestor of the modern-day horse?
